Born as a railroad town in the 1800's, Tehachapi is renowned for its rustic natural beauty, its slower pace and four seasons. Our area is surrounded by gorgeous mountains of oak, pine and a variety of wildlife. Tehachapi boasts a vibrant arts community, a growing list of restaurants, recreational pursuits, parks, horse trails, golf courses, an Airport, a Gliderport, excellent schools and friendly neighbors.
